Delta Police Address Viral Video of Balloon Incident
A recent video depicting a young lady experiencing a hysterical episode after inflating a balloon at a party has garnered significant attention online. In the footage, the woman, surrounded by friends, begins to act erratically—shouting and jumping—shortly after inflating the balloon, prompting concern among viewers.
Responding to the incident, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, took to social media to address the situation. He questioned the immediate assumption of the woman’s account’s veracity, suggesting that the public should not hastily criticize the police without understanding the full context.
Edafe emphasized the importance of verifying details before drawing conclusions, stating, “Do we have to believe her simply because she said it? Which police station was he taken to? Why was he arrested in the first place?”
