Victor Osimhen's Mega Deal: Galatasaray's €70M Bid

Super Eagles Star Osimhen Poised for €70M Move to Galatasaray

Turkish club Galatasaray has reportedly expressed strong interest in securing Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen on a permanent basis, following his impressive loan spell from Napoli. Osimhen has been in exceptional form, netting 28 goals and providing five assists in 32 appearances for Galatasaray this season. In light of this performance, Galatasaray is prepared to offer €70 million to Napoli for a permanent transfer, along with a proposed three-year contract for Osimhen, featuring an annual salary of €15 million plus performance-based incentives.

However, Napoli has previously rejected a €65 million bid from Galatasaray, holding firm on their valuation of Osimhen. The Italian club has set a release clause of €75 million for the striker, which was established when he signed a new contract before his loan move. Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, has indicated that the club will not entertain offers below this valuation.

Osimhen’s future remains uncertain, with several top European clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, reportedly interested in acquiring his services. The striker has stated that he will make a decision regarding his next move in April. While he has expressed affection for Galatasaray, he has also acknowledged the possibility of moving on, saying, “I live in the moment, and I don’t know what will happen in the summer.”

As the summer transfer window approaches, the competition for Osimhen’s signature is expected to intensify, with Galatasaray aiming to retain him and other European giants vying for his acquisition.
