Nigerian Actress Hilda Dokubo on Trending House of Reps Video
Veteran Nollywood actress and activist Hilda Dokubo has reacted to a viral video showing a Nigerian House of Representatives member struggling to coherently move a motion during a plenary session.
In the video, the lawmaker appeared confused and incoherent while attempting to present his motion, prompting corrections from Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu.
Sharing the clip on her social media, Dokubo expressed her frustration, stating:
“Can we all give him a big round of applause. Kai! Can you all see why they don’t speak? Why those of us who can speak, annoy them? See what a member of the House of Representatives is doing to his people. Let me go and sleep bikonu.”
