South African Teen Faces 43-Year Sentence for Principal’s Robbery and Murder
A 15-year-old boy from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, has been sentenced to 43 years in prison for the murder of a 61-year-old school principal, Alpheus Mphumuzeni Ntuli.
The teenager was convicted of murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and illegal possession of a firearm.
The crime occurred in April 2023 when the boy killed Ntuli, stole his firearm, and dumped his body near a riverbank after robbing him. The teenager had used his grandfather’s gun to commit the murder.
