Family Claims Wrongful Arrest of Bodejo by Nigerian Army: Details Inside
Bello Bodejo, the National President of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, was reportedly arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) with support from the Nigerian Army.
The arrest occurred at the association’s head office in Nasarawa State. Authorities cited concerns over the establishment of an unregistered vigilante group by Miyetti Allah, which they feared could incite violence across the country.
This vigilante group was neither recognized by the DSS, the police, nor other security agencies.
However, the National Secretary of Miyetti Allah, Saleh Al-Hassan, argued that the arrest was unrelated to the vigilante initiative.
He stated that relevant security agencies, including the DSS and the Army, were notified about the group’s creation and were present at its inauguration.
