‘1000-lb Sisters’ Star Amy Slaton’s Legal Drama: Guilty of Drug Possession
Amy Slaton, star of “1000-Lb. Sisters,” pleaded guilty to drug possession charges following her September arrest at Tennessee Safari Park.
As part of a plea agreement, she will avoid jail time but must pay a $1,000 fine, complete a drug and alcohol assessment, attend a state-certified parenting class, and serve two years of probation. The child endangerment charges were dismissed under the deal.
Additionally, Slaton and her companion, Brian Scott Lovvorn, are banned from the park. The incident began when the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department responded to calls about a camel biting a guest and discovered drugs in Slaton’s vehicle.
Subsequently, Slaton’s two sons were placed in the care of her sister, Tammy Slaton.
