According to the Niger State Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Wasiu Abiodun, Abdulhakeem complained of severe stomach pain and was taken to the General Hospital in Minna for medical attention, where he died while receiving treatment.
The circumstances surrounding Abdulhakeem’s death are currently under investigation. The police have not disclosed further details regarding the cause of his death.
