Three Siblings Found Wandering in Abeokuta: A Community’s Response
Three young siblings were recently found wandering the streets of Abeokuta, Ogun State. Identified as Adenekan David (7 years old), Adenekan Opeyemi Aje (4 years old), and Adenekan Ayisa (2 years old), the children were discovered by a Good Samaritan named Mr. Akinbiyi, who subsequently handed them over to the police.
The authorities are currently seeking assistance to reunite the children with their family.
This incident highlights the importance of community vigilance in ensuring the safety of children. If anyone has information regarding the children’s family or their circumstances, they are encouraged to contact the local police to facilitate a swift reunion.
In similar cases, prompt action by community members and law enforcement has been crucial in reuniting lost children with their families.
For instance, in Jackson, a police officer recently assisted a 5-year-old child found wandering alone on a street, ensuring the child’s safety and eventual return to their family.
