Heroic Effort: Trapped Lagos Factory Workers Rescued from Reservoir
Two factory workers in the Ikosi area of Lagos State were rescued after becoming trapped in a diesel reservoir on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. when one worker accidentally fell into the reservoir during repair work, and the second worker became trapped while attempting a rescue.
Emergency responders from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the state fire service conducted the rescue operation.
Both victims were provided with first aid, including CPR, and were transported to the hospital by the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS).
Tragically, despite sustained medical efforts, both individuals were later confirmed dead at the hospital.
