Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Attorneys Speak Out: ‘Freak Off’ Videos and Consensual Content
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team is asserting that videos of his alleged “Freak Off” parties depict consensual activities among adults, countering charges of sex trafficking and related offenses. In a recent court filing, his attorneys argue that the footage shows no evidence of coercion, violence, or non-consensual acts, describing the prosecution’s stance as “sexist and puritanical.”
The defense highlights that the videos, which include nine recordings of six sexual encounters, feature the alleged victim appearing in control and enjoying herself. They contend that these recordings do not support allegations of misconduct.
Combs faces serious charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, to which he has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he could face a life sentence. His trial is scheduled for May 2025.
The defense has requested fewer restrictions on viewing the videos to prepare their case, asserting that the government is unfairly criminalizing consensual sexual behavior. Combs remains detained without bail over concerns of witness tampering.
