Mohamed Salah Offered £65M Payday for Two Seasons by Saudi Chiefs: Reports
Saudi Arabian football officials are reportedly preparing a substantial offer to entice Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah to join Al-Hilal. The proposed deal is said to be worth £65 million over two seasons.
This development follows a previous attempt by Al-Ittihad to sign Salah in August 2023, which Liverpool declined despite a £150 million bid.
Adding to the speculation, Turki Alalshikh, a prominent figure in Saudi sports, recently posted a digitally altered image of Salah wearing an Al-Hilal jersey.
Salah’s current contract with Liverpool is set to expire at the end of the season, making him a free agent. This status allows him to engage in discussions with foreign clubs.
Al-Hilal’s interest in Salah is partly motivated by their need to find a replacement for Neymar, who is expected to depart the club.
Salah has been a pivotal player for Liverpool, contributing significantly to the team’s success with 18 goals and 13 assists this season.
As the situation develops, it remains to be seen whether Salah will choose to continue his career at Liverpool or accept the lucrative offer from Al-Hilal.
