Breaking News: Police Arrest Wife and Associates of Notorious Chadian Terrorist in Kano
The Kano State Police Command has arrested three associates of a wanted Chadian terrorist, Ahmad Adam Abba, including his wife.
Abba is accused of masterminding the killing of 17 people in Chad and was reportedly planning to establish a terrorist base in Kano. The arrested individuals comprise his wife, another Chadian national named Jibrin Mohammed, 42, and a Nigerian accomplice.
The arrests were made following intelligence-led operations, during which Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were also recovered. The primary suspect, Abba, has fled Nigeria and is believed to be in Cameroon. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to dismantle the terrorist network and mitigate potential threats.
