NDLEA Apprehends 75-Year-Old in Kano Drug Bust

NDLEA Seizes Illicit Drugs from Senior Citizen in Kano

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Kano State has arrested 75-year-old Nuhu Baba for allegedly distributing illicit drugs in Tumbau Village, Gezawa Local Government Area. The operation led to the seizure of substances including Tramadol, Cannabis Sativa, Diazepam, Exol-5, and rubber solution.

Upon investigation, Baba confessed to engaging in this illicit trade for over two years as a means of livelihood.

This arrest underscores the pervasive nature of drug trafficking, affecting individuals across all age groups, including the elderly.
