Four-Year Marriage Terminated Over Character Issues
A Grade I Area Court in Lugbe, Abuja, has dissolved the four-year-old marriage between Shuiba Abdullahi and his wife, Aisha Abdullahi, citing the wife’s persistent disrespect towards her husband.
Shuiba stated that Aisha’s continual disrespect led to a lack of peace in their marriage, causing him to lose interest in the union. Aisha consented to the divorce during the proceedings.
The presiding judge, Aliyu Kagarko, granted the divorce and ordered Shuiba to allow Aisha to collect her belongings from their residence within 24 hours. The marriage did not produce any children.
