Singer Portable’s Voluntary Police Turn-In

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has voluntarily surrendered to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba. This action follows his being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command on February 18, 2025, after he and nine associates allegedly assaulted and obstructed officials from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during their lawful duties.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed Portable’s surrender and stated that the Ogun State Police Command has been notified to take him into custody.

Prior to turning himself in, Portable had made various public statements, including referring to himself as a “mad man,” and had been urged by fans to cooperate with law enforcement.

This development comes after Portable’s recent social media post expressing gratitude and announcing his return to public life, following a period of seclusion due to the allegations.
