MTV’s Tony Raines Charged with Intoxicated Driving
Tony Raines, known for his appearances on MTV’s “The Real World: Skeletons” and “The Challenge,” was arrested early Sunday morning in Hammond, Louisiana, for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The charges include one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, one count of reckless operation, and four counts of negligent injuring.
Sources indicate that Raines attended a wedding on Saturday night, followed by an afterparty at a local restaurant. An altercation reportedly occurred on the dance floor, leading Raines to leave the venue and drive off. He was subsequently arrested at a different location. As of now, Raines is being held on a $7,500 bond and awaits arraignment.
This incident is not Raines’ first encounter with alcohol-related legal issues. In 2016, he was arrested in Charleston, South Carolina, for public drinking after narrowly avoiding a DUI charge.
