Tragic Incident: Girlfriend Killed in Lagos Assault
In Lagos State, a 23-year-old man named Gbolahan Adebayo has been arrested for allegedly beating his girlfriend to death. The incident occurred on Friday around 8:00 p.m. at Ijedodo, Isheri-Osun area. A neighbor reported witnessing Adebayo assaulting his girlfriend in his room.
Shortly after, the suspect called for help, and the neighbor found the victim unconscious on the bed with visible signs of violence. The victim was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Adebayo is currently in police custody, and the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
