Hacked Government Screens Show Trump Kissing Musk’s Feet
On February 24, 2025, an AI-generated video depicting President Donald Trump kissing Elon Musk’s feet was broadcast on loop across television screens at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The video, captioned “LONG LIVE THE REAL KING,” played for several minutes before staff manually turned off the displays. HUD spokesperson Kasey Lovett condemned the incident as a misuse of taxpayer resources and promised appropriate actions against those responsible.
The source of the hack remains unidentified. The incident coincides with recent tensions within HUD, as Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency has proposed significant budget cuts and layoffs, including a plan to reduce HUD’s workforce by approximately 4,000 employees.
This proposal has sparked concerns among federal employees and the public about Musk’s growing influence in government operations.
