12-Year-Old Student Fatally Struck by Hit and Run Driver
A tragic hit-and-run incident occurred on Monday, February 24, 2025, along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, resulting in the death of a 12-year-old student and serious injuries to her 15-year-old sister.
The siblings were returning from school when an unidentified driver, speeding in the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lane, struck them at Ogundare bus stop. The driver fled the scene immediately after the collision. The Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation to apprehend the suspect.
