Mourinho Faces Criminal Charges Over Controversial Comments
Galatasaray has announced plans to initiate criminal proceedings against Fenerbahce manager José Mourinho following his controversial remarks after a 0-0 draw in the Istanbul derby.
Mourinho described the Galatasaray bench as “jumping like monkeys” during the match and criticized Turkish referees, suggesting the game would have been a “disaster” under their officiation. In response, Galatasaray accused Mourinho of making “racist statements” and stated their intention to file official complaints with UEFA and FIFA. Mourinho and Fenerbahce have not yet commented on these allegations.
