Tragic Suicide: Ogun Man, 58, Jumps into Well
In a tragic incident in Ogun State, Nigeria, a 58-year-old man named Adeleye Alani reportedly took his own life by jumping into a well in the Ori-Osoko Community, Abeokuta. The incident occurred on a recent Sunday, as confirmed by the Ogun State Police Command.
This case is among several recent suicides in the region. In January 2025, Adeniyi Oluwaseun, the acting Head of the Audit Department at the Federal Medical Centre in Abeokuta, also ended his life by jumping into a well.
Additionally, a 25-year-old man was found hanging in a forest in Ogun State, prompting police investigations.
