Activist Aisha Yesufu Reacts to Fubara’s Impeachment Drama
Prominent Nigerian activist Aisha Yesufu has reacted to the impeachment proceedings initiated against Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State. Expressing her thoughts on social media, Yesufu humorously remarked that she wished she could ask Governor Fubara to step aside for two weeks so she could assume the role of governor, stating, “We go kukuma know say nobody has monopoly of anyhowness!”
In a more serious tone, Yesufu called on the people of Rivers State to initiate the recall of all State Assembly members involved in the impeachment process, emphasizing the importance of holding elected officials accountable.
These developments come amid reports that the Rivers State House of Assembly has commenced impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara.
