Comedian and actor Tracy Morgan experienced a medical incident during the New York Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden on Monday, March 17, 2025. Seated courtside, Morgan suddenly became ill during the third quarter, vomiting onto the court.

This unexpected event led to a brief delay in the game as staff attended to the situation. Morgan was subsequently escorted out of the arena in a wheelchair, holding a towel to his face.

A spokesperson for Madison Square Garden expressed well wishes, stating, “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.” Knicks player Josh Hart also extended his support, noting, “First and foremost, obviously we hope everything is good with Tracy Morgan… prayers go out to him and his health and safety.”

Morgan, 56, has faced significant health challenges in the past, including a kidney transplant in 2010 and severe injuries from a 2014 car crash. His current condition following this incident remains undisclosed. ​

Fans and fellow celebrities have taken to social media to express their concern and support. Actor Ben Stiller tweeted, “Sending good thoughts to Tracy Morgan,” while former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III posted, “Prayers up for Tracy Morgan.”

The Knicks went on to secure a 116-95 victory over the Heat after the game resumed.
