Comedian Tracy Morgan Suffers Food Poisoning Incident
Comedian Tracy Morgan’s recent health scare during the New York Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden has been attributed to food poisoning. Seated courtside on March 17, 2025, Morgan suddenly became ill, vomiting onto the court, which led to a brief delay in the game as staff attended to the situation. He was subsequently escorted out of the arena in a wheelchair.
The following day, Morgan provided an update from his hospital bed, sharing a photo on Instagram and reassuring fans about his condition. He wrote, “Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning.” Displaying his characteristic humor, he added, “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs.”
The incident occurred during the third quarter, causing a delay of over ten minutes while the area was cleaned. Despite the interruption, the Knicks secured a 116-95 victory over the Heat.
Morgan, 56, has previously faced significant health challenges, including a kidney transplant in 2010 and severe injuries from a 2014 car accident. His prompt recovery from this recent episode is a relief to fans and well-wishers.
