Katsina Kidnapping: 70-Year-Old Man Arrested for Assistance

​In Katsina State, a 70-year-old man identified as Malam Danlami has been apprehended by vigilante operatives for allegedly aiding kidnappers. The arrest occurred in the Dutsinma Local Government Area following intelligence reports linking Danlami to criminal activities.

He is accused of collaborating with a notorious bandit known as Alhaji Kudi and facilitating the kidnapping of five women by guiding the bandits to their residences, leading to their abduction into the forest. ​

This incident underscores the persistent security challenges in Katsina State, where both law enforcement and community vigilante groups are actively working to combat kidnapping and banditry.
