CNN’s Don Lemon Claims Sexual Harassment by Women
Former CNN anchor Don Lemon has alleged that he experienced sexual harassment from both male and female colleagues during his tenure at the network.
In a recent appearance on Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast, Lemon recounted specific incidents, including one where a female colleague pinched his nipples in CNN’s Atlanta headquarters cafeteria, commenting on the temperature.
He also described another off-site encounter where a female colleague, aware of his sexual orientation, acted inappropriately.
Lemon chose not to report these incidents to CNN management, citing concerns about potential double standards and fear of professional repercussions. He expressed a preference for addressing such matters directly rather than through formal human resources complaints.
Despite his own experiences, Lemon faced allegations of misogynistic behavior during his time at CNN, involving colleagues like Soledad O’Brien, Kyra Phillips, and Nancy Grace. These incidents contributed to public outrage and his eventual departure from the network in 2023.
CNN has declined to comment on Lemon’s recent claims.
