Tragic Ogun Auto Crash Claims Four Gospel Ministers

Four Nigerian gospel ministers, including Evangelist Ayodeji David, popularly known as “Kekere Jesu,” tragically lost their lives in a fatal accident on the Ikorodu–Sagamu Road in Ogun State. The other deceased ministers have been identified as Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin, and Opeyemi Adesina. The accident occurred when their vehicle collided with another, resulting in a high-impact crash that claimed all four lives instantly.

According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the accident involved multiple vehicles and resulted in over 24 fatalities. Preliminary investigations suggest that speeding and poor visibility were contributing factors to the tragic incident.

Evangelist Ayodeji David, known as “Kekere Jesu,” was renowned for his passionate preaching, dynamic street evangelism, and significant presence on social media, where he inspired many. The news of his untimely passing has elicited an outpouring of grief from followers, church members, and colleagues.

Prophet Sam Olu Alo, founder of Christ Apostolic Church, Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain International Ministry, expressed his sorrow on Facebook, stating, “UNQUESTIONABLE GOD!! Hmmmmnnn…..This is indeed a Rude Shock today. But Who are we to question God.. For His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways are Higher than our ways…”

The remains of Evangelist Ayodeji David and his senior brother’s wife have been laid to rest, while the bodies of his deceased personal assistant and fiancée have been returned to their respective families for interment.
