Lagos-Ibadan Expressway crash FRSC
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed that one person lost their life while nine others sustained injuries in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
According to FRSC officials, the crash occurred after a commercial bus lost control and collided with another vehicle. Eyewitnesses said the impact left several passengers trapped before emergency responders arrived at the scene.
The injured victims were quickly rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, while the body of the deceased was deposited at the morgue. Authorities attributed the accident to excessive speeding and reckless driving.
FRSC spokespersons once again urged motorists to exercise caution, obey traffic regulations, and avoid dangerous driving practices, especially on busy highways like the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, which has recorded several fatal accidents in recent months.
