The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) recently claimed that Yahya Sinwar, a top Hamas leader, was killed during a military operation in Gaza.
Sinwar, a key figure behind many Hamas activities, was reportedly targeted by Israeli soldiers in Rafah.
The IDF is in the process of confirming the identity of the body they believe to be Sinwar’s.
This news follows Israel’s heightened military response after the October 7 attacks carried out by Hamas.
