MTN data centre Tier III certification
MTN Nigeria has announced that its data centre facility has secured the prestigious Tier III certification from the Uptime Institute, a global authority in data centre standards.
The certification confirms that the facility meets international standards for redundancy, availability, and operational sustainability, ensuring businesses and customers enjoy uninterrupted digital services.
According to MTN, the achievement underscores its commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s digital infrastructure, supporting cloud services, fintech, and enterprise solutions across the country.
“This milestone reflects our drive to provide reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions for Nigeria’s growing digital economy,” an MTN executive said.
Tier III certification means the facility can undergo maintenance on any component without impacting operations, guaranteeing at least 99.982% uptime annually.
