Sowore arrested in court during Nnamdi Kanu appearance
Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore was reportedly arrested in court after appearing in solidarity with the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. The incident occurred at the Federal High Court in Abuja, where Kanu’s trial was being held.
Eyewitnesses stated that Sowore arrived at the court to observe the proceedings but was later confronted by security operatives.
