NDLEA Raids Nigerian Senator’s Home: No Drugs Found
Kwara South Senator, Oyelola Ashiru, has confirmed that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) raided his residence in Ilorin.
However, he emphasized that no hard drugs or illicit substances were found during the raid.
This revelation followed accusations that his home was being used as a hub for drug activities, which the senator vehemently denied.
The NDLEA had earlier claimed that the raid, which occurred in February 2024, was based on credible intelligence and surveillance, leading to the arrest of two of his aides.
