Nigerian-British Businessman Igho Ubiribo Dies After Penis Enlargement Procedure in Thailand
Nigerian-British businessman and social media influencer Igho Ubiribo has died after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure during a luxury holiday in Thailand.
Ubiribo, 43, was also known by the names “Tiny,” “Denisi” and “Ego.” A UK coroner has ruled that he died from a fatal pulmonary embolism linked to the cosmetic procedure.
The businessman was in Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, when he underwent the treatment at an unnamed clinic in March 2026. Evidence presented at an inquest in London revealed that the procedure involved injections of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine.
Ubiribo Became Ill After the Procedure
Following the treatment, Ubiribo and his wife reportedly returned to their Marriott hotel and went for a massage.
During the massage, he complained of chest pain and subsequently collapsed twice.
He was taken by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was initially conscious and able to respond to questions.
His wife told medical staff that he had recently undergone penis filler injections. Doctors became concerned that he could be suffering from a pulmonary embolism and recommended a CT scan.
However, Ubiribo lost consciousness before the scan could be completed.
He was transferred to intensive care, where medical workers reportedly performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation for more than 100 minutes in an effort to save his life.
He died in the early hours of March 6, 2026.
Coroner Links Death to Cosmetic Treatment
A postmortem examination carried out in the United Kingdom later provided evidence about the cause of death.
According to evidence presented at the inquest, cellular material found in Ubiribo’s lungs was consistent with the hyaluronic acid used during the cosmetic procedure.
Pathologist John du Parcq told the inquest that the material found in the lungs matched the substance used in the filler treatment.
The findings were consistent with a pulmonary embolism and also corresponded with the results of an autopsy conducted in Thailand.
Coroner Jean Harkin subsequently ruled that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic procedure.
What Is a Pulmonary Embolism?
A pulmonary embolism happens when a blood vessel supplying the lungs becomes blocked.
The condition can become life-threatening because the blockage can interfere with blood flow through the lungs and place significant strain on the heart.
In Ubiribo’s case, the inquest heard that the material found in his lungs was consistent with the hyaluronic acid used in the penis filler.
The coroner’s conclusion has therefore drawn renewed attention to the potential risks associated with injectable cosmetic procedures.
Ubiribo’s Medical History
Evidence presented during the inquest also examined Ubiribo’s previous health history.
His London-based doctor reportedly said he had previously undergone joint surgery and had been described as pre-diabetic and suffering from gout.
However, the doctor reportedly indicated that Ubiribo did not have other significant medical conditions.
The inquest ultimately focused on the evidence connecting the cosmetic treatment to the pulmonary embolism that caused his death.

Ubiribo was known for documenting an affluent lifestyle on social media.
He reportedly had about 185,000 Instagram followers and owned properties in both London and Los Angeles.
He married fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen in a lavish ceremony in Zimbabwe in 2022.
His death has also attracted attention because of his connection to Nigerian music star Davido.
Davido was described as a childhood friend of Ubiribo and attended his funeral in London. The singer reportedly paid tribute to him and expressed his shock over the loss.

Ubiribo’s death has renewed discussion about cosmetic penis enlargement procedures involving injectable fillers.
Hyaluronic acid is widely used in cosmetic medicine, including treatments designed to increase penis girth. However, injectable procedures can carry risks and complications.
