Wike Dismisses Rivals’ Threats in Rivers State Politics
Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has asserted his dominance over opponents backing Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Speaking at a recent event in Port Harcourt, Wike declared that those supporting Fubara are “sick” if they do not recognize his political strength.
He emphasized that he is “far bigger than all of them put together,” dismissing the threats from his opponents as empty. Wike also reiterated that no one can take over the political structure he established in Rivers State, positioning himself as an unchallenged leader in the region’s political landscape.
This statement follows the ongoing rift between Wike and his successor, Fubara, over control of political influence in Rivers State
