Digital Reforms for ICPC’s Fight Against Corruption
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) announced that it recovered over ₦13 billion in diverted public funds during September 2024.
This recovery was part of the commission’s ongoing efforts to fight corruption in Nigeria. ICPC Chairman, Musa Aliyu, disclosed this during the launch of the commission’s 2024-2028 Strategic Action Plan in Abuja.
The recovery highlights the commission’s progress in tackling corruption and promoting accountability.
The ICPC also announced plans to digitalize its operations to enhance efficiency in investigations and case management.
These reforms are aimed at strengthening the commission’s ability to combat corruption more effectively in the digital age.
