2027 Elections: Labour Party Denies Any Alliance with Tinubu
The Labour Party (LP) has firmly denied allegations of collaborating with President Bola Tinubu or the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
This denial follows claims by activist Deji Adeyanju and others suggesting that the LP leadership was working with APC loyalists to secure Tinubu’s re-election.
Obiora Ifoh, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, called the allegations baseless and challenged accusers to provide evidence.
He reaffirmed that the LP, under Julius Abure, remains committed to its role as a strong opposition force, highlighting the party’s successes in the 2023 elections as proof of its independent agenda.
Ifoh also criticized the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) for allegedly undermining the party through misinformation and internal conflicts.
