Accord Party has expelled its 2023 presidential candidate, Christopher Imumolen, along with several state chairpersons, due to accusations of gross misconduct.
The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party found evidence of factionalism, anti-party activities, and actions that brought the party into disrepute.
This disciplinary decision, taken after an investigation by a seven-member committee, also included the dismissal of former chairpersons from other states.
The party aims to rebuild and strengthen its structure through a major membership drive.
