Aisha Yesufu, a prominent Nigerian activist, weighed in on the ongoing dispute between the Falana family and social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM). She expressed that if Femi Falana and his son, rapper Falz, do not challenge the allegations made against them, it could be perceived as though they are guilty.
The allegations involve a claim that Falz’s family was implicated in a scheme to help Bobrisky secure a presidential pardon. According to Yesufu, the Falanas are right to defend their reputation, and those who accuse them of using their legal influence for personal gain must provide evidence or apologize.
Yesufu also noted that focusing on both the corruption case and the defamation claims can be done simultaneously. She emphasized that reputation is important and that not addressing such accusations could damage the family’s hard-earned name
