On February 5, 2025, the Niger State Police Command arrested two individuals in Minna for possession of a dangerous weapon and cannabis.
The suspects, identified as 22-year-old Mariam Abdullahi and 25-year-old Aliyu Abubakar, both residents of the Bosso area in Minna, were intercepted by a police patrol team attached to the Tudun-Wada Division while traveling in a tricycle in the Tunga area.
Upon searching the vehicle, officers discovered a long sharp knife and two wraps of cannabis. The suspects are currently under investigation and will soon be charged to court for prosecution
