Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of Yahya Faruq, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member in Rivers State.
Faruq was last seen on October 14, 2024, after reporting for his shift at a local company, LDM Chinese Milling Company, where he worked part-time alongside his service at a secondary school in Ikuru Town, Andoni Local Government Area.
Concerns grew when his belongings, including his bag and phone, were returned to his primary assignment location without any sign of him.
The police have detained the suspects for further investigation into the case.
Efforts are ongoing to locate Faruq, and the police are collaborating with the NYSC and other authorities to resolve the situation.
