On the night of February 4, 2025, a tragic shooting occurred at a cosmetics warehouse in New Albany, Ohio, resulting in one fatality and five injuries. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Bruce Reginald Foster III, fled the scene, prompting a nearly 12-hour manhunt. Authorities apprehended Foster at a residence in Columbus, Ohio, on February 5. He has been charged with aggravated murder and is scheduled for arraignment on Thursday morning.
Foster was an employee at the warehouse and had been working for several hours before the incident. The shooting is believed to have been targeted, though the exact motive remains under investigation. A legally purchased handgun was recovered at the scene. Approximately 150 employees were evacuated following the incident.
The identities and conditions of the injured victims have not been publicly disclosed. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
