Kaduna Crisis: Bandits Demand N30m for Abducted Family Members

In Kaduna State, Nigeria, bandits abducted four family members in the early hours of a raid, demanding a ransom of 30 million Naira.

The incident occurred in Kauru Local Government Area, where heavily armed bandits invaded multiple communities.

The victims include a retired Central Bank of Nigeria director, his brother, and his brother’s wife. During the attack, six residents lost their lives, and several others were injured.

The Kaduna State government condemned the violence and emphasized the need for aggressive military operations to curb the menace of banditry in the region.

Governor Uba Sani has urged the deployment of more resources to restore security across the state.
