Three female students from Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi (JOSTUM), who were abducted on February 25, 2025, have been released after eight days in captivity.
The students were kidnapped while returning from a night study session on campus.
Their release was confirmed by the Benue State Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Sewuese Anene, who stated that the victims are currently receiving medical attention at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi.
