Olanike Nafisat Balogun has made history as the first female pilot in the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
She began her career in 2002 as a Customs Assistant and steadily advanced through rigorous training, obtaining qualifications in air ticketing, public administration, and pilot certification from a flight academy in Miami, Florida.
Balogun, now a Deputy Superintendent of Customs, achieved this milestone through determination and institutional support, earning commendations for inspiring other women and breaking gender barriers within the NCS.
