Political Shift: Another Labour Party MP Defects to APC

Another member of the House of Representatives, Alfred Illiya Ajang, representing Jos South and East Federal Constituency, has defected from the Labour Party (LP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Illiya cited the internal crisis within the Labour Party as the main reason for his decision. His defection adds to the growing number of LP lawmakers joining the ruling party.

This move follows similar defections by other LP members who have also highlighted party divisions as a key factor in their decisions.
