Gunmen recently abducted a senior officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and his police orderly in Delta State.
The officer was traveling on the Owa-Alero/Ubulu-Uku road when the assailants intercepted them.
Reports indicate that the armed attackers forcibly took the officer and his orderly into the surrounding bush, leaving their abandoned vehicle behind.
Security agencies, including the Delta State Police Command, have launched an operation to rescue the victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
