Nigerian artist Davido has retracted his earlier criticism of Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Abba, following violent clashes in the state. Initially, Davido accused the commissioner of failing to uphold the rule of law amid the unrest.
However, upon further reflection, he acknowledged the commissioner’s efforts to manage the situation and admitted that his initial reaction was fueled by anger over the tragic loss of lives. Davido expressed regret for his earlier comments and commended the security agencies’ dedication to restoring peace in Osun State.
