Outrage in Delta: Teen Killed by Officer During Fireworks Celebration

A tragic incident occurred in Delta State, Nigeria, where a teenage boy was shot and killed by a police officer in Ozoro.

The incident unfolded when officers tried to arrest the boy after fireworks (knockouts) were found in his possession.

The boy allegedly resisted arrest and attempted to flee, prompting one officer to open fire, leading to his death.

The Delta State Police Command has identified and detained the officer responsible. The Commissioner of Police has assured the victim’s family of a thorough investigation and justice.
