Nasboi, the popular Nigerian skit maker and singer, has expressed frustration over the negativity he perceives in the Nigerian internet space, attributing some of it to what he metaphorically describes as “the Devil.”
He made this comment in response to the online culture of trolling and false accusations that many influencers and creatives face.
Nasboi has previously discussed the misconceptions about the creative industry, including allegations of fraud against skit makers.
He clarified that many people are unaware of how lucrative the industry can be, which leads to unfair accusations against content creators and influencers.
For example, he mentioned that some skit makers earn substantial income from endorsements and viral content, challenging the stereotype of them engaging in internet fraud.
