Elon Musk has announced that xAI’s latest chatbot, Grok 3, will be unveiled on Monday, February 17, 2025, with a live demonstration scheduled for 8 p.m. Pacific Time (0400 GMT on Tuesday). Musk has described Grok 3 as the “smartest AI on Earth.”
In the lead-up to this release, Musk highlighted Grok 3’s advanced reasoning capabilities, referring to it as “scary-smart” and asserting that it outperforms existing AI chatbots, including OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
xAI, founded by Musk in 2023, has been rapidly advancing its AI technologies. The company is reportedly in discussions to raise $10 billion, potentially valuing it at around $75 billion. This funding is intended to expand xAI’s data center capacity and further train its AI models.
The unveiling of Grok 3 is highly anticipated, especially given Musk’s claims about its superior performance and the significant investments backing xAI’s developments.
